If you like picker, but would like to see more features send me a mail with your ideas. If I like your suggestion, you get a free registration. The people who made the suggestions below all received free unlock codes for the picker.

Bug reports are equally welcome and will also receive a registration code in gratitude.

You really should make Picker more international. Just look above and see the stats, 90 out of a minimum of 800 people are just using the 6/49 game. Theres just so many to cater for. If you were to let the user set up there own separate games then i would think you would get a much higher audience. This would make Picker an excellent program for your international users as they wouldn't be limited to just 6/49.

would like to know if you plan to increase the number pool to 54 which would allow it's use in all US games?

I have a few suggestions for ya! First, I like the program. It would be great to have it configurable as to how the balls are dropped. Here in Texas, they have 5 colums above the machine, from left to right, top left most ball is one, bottom right most ball is 50, like this...

Veri nice program, it will make a diference if it works with other lotto 6/49 draws ( Canada - Ontario).

Wow Sunil! Great idea! I have an idea for future versions....give the player the ability to (not sure how to put this) choose the type of game

Highest number?
Lowest number?
How many balls to be picked?
Leave any numbers out (like an unlucky number people don't want) etc.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to take a look at it. What do you think about having the frequency analysis add weight to the balls? Not to force them up front as the frequecny chart does, but simply give the numbers that have been hitting more often a slighlty better chance of being drawn by your picker, as they seem to be, by the actual lottery.

Thanks for getting back to me on use with other lotteries. I just wondered what method this program is using to pick the numbers. Is it a random number algorithm? Does it look at random numbers with a higher percentage of being selected, such as balance between odd and even numbers? In other words, is it likely to pick "better" than a standard random number generator? Also, do you plan to add any additional functionality in the future, such as "fuzzy logic"?

I have a copy of your Picker program... we like it very much, but one thing. The number 16 is missimg from all the options screens (The suggestion folks is to change the way those ball not in play are displayed on the tickets)

OOps, bug fixed

I do not have any sugestions to your program except I do have a program from D.J. Presdee version 1.31 which is far superior to your's.

As far as your program it needs some work doing to it, I suggest you look at D.J.Presdee program at: Intrenet:dip@marz.demon.co.uk this is just a suggestion

That wasnt very nice

how do I print the numbers as due to having a stroke has left me unable to write.

I have down loaded a copy of your lottery picker program, which I find fun to use and novel way of picking numbers. as I was updating the analysis page I used the picker to see if numbers picked would correspond to the actual numbers drawn (I lead a sad life) and found to my surprise that two numbers on most of the draws did.

May I make a suggestion that the use of drag and drop or highlighting numbers on the grid would make it easyer when adding drawn numbers to the analysis page. many thanks

I'm the owner of a lottery club in Florida. As a suggestion to you I would like to see a commercial version of your software available to lottery clubs. A complete package for the lottery clubs around the world. I understand this would involve a lot of work on your part, but could set the standard from which all other programs are judged. I certainly think from what I've from looking at your program, You got what it takes to get the job done.

Hello. I've been fairly impressed by your PICKER program and just wanted to say so. Anyways, as you noted before that you are always looking for ideas to further enhance you program, I thought of these:

1) Have you ever tried designing this in 3D? The reason I say this comes from my observances of lotteries. Since the container is a sphere rather than a circle, the two hemispheres in the sphere turn in opposite directions to each other, and (sometimes) the sphere actually "slows down" when a ball is about to be selected, I figure the numbers selected would truly represent the lottery number selection. This is probably a most difficult task, so just think about this one.

2) Does your program use collision detection? If so, then is is this regarding the elimination of numbers. In your program when a number is taken out of the range of numbers, it is literally taken out of the simulation. Maybe you should have an option to include the ball in the selection process but not be selected if picked. The omittance of a ball from the simulation can alter which numbers are to be selected (if collision detection is implemented).

Please do not take these suggestions to seriously. Just putting my two cents worth. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I would like to see a new utility that I don't have the skills to code and I submit it to you for consideration.

Like most in the r.g.l. I play with wheels looking for the magic one? ( I know! Don't comment!) Well most of the wheels are conditional and it is hard to find out just how good they are? My suggested utility can help in thsi matter.

What I want is...a program where I can input my selected numbers and it will check the datbase of the game I am playing and show how many draws had wins of 3 or more. This program needs to be able to input up to 40 numbers to make it worthwhile mas my own reseach shows that you needs a spead of 35 numbers to regularly get 6 in your selection. So I run the program and it comes up with the answer...

Game GB LOTTERY
Draws in database 160

Number Selected(35)	1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, ...etc

Number of 3's = 127 draw 1 21, 33, 44
								draw 17	5, 24, 49
								draw 18	7, 13, 44
								etc..

Number of 4's= 96 draw 2 5, 19, 20, 46
		 		etc...

Number of 5's 27 draw 5 21, 24, 35, 47, 48,
		 		etc

Number of 6's 15 draw 13 1, 2, 19, 29, 37, 44
All fictional draw numbers but you get the idea.

Now knowing that my 35 selection generated 15 draws where it got 6 number right I can run my chosen wheel throught the database ( I have a lotto program that will do this) and look at the results.

Say my wheel comes up with 2x6's correct, 3x5's correct,15x4's correct, 56x3's correct I now have a basis for working out how good this wheel is against another whell of the same number of selections (35) and I will know if it gives a better guarantee.

This then will allow all wheels to be compared and the wheel with the best guarantee used to play the lottery. Of course you will have to run more than one test to establish the best overall wheel. I t will also allow fine tuning as you can work slowly down from your highest number of selection to a figure that you feel you can afford and gives a good chance of a return.

I wish the program can:

1. allow users to arrange the ball position before it fall down to the roller. for example, in Hong Kong, our 47 balls positions are like this: numbers are put from up to down, and left to right.

2. have triple number analysis. for example, the 11-12-15 happens 3 times since

3. have position analysis. for example, the position 1 has number 12 occurs 10 time since, position 2 has number 20 occurs 5 time since.

4. have predicting features using neural technology or genetic algorithm technology. I believe this new technology can analysis the drawing pattern more accurately to some extent.

5. incorporate some mathematics analysis - monte carlo simulation, or cluster analysis.

I wish your product can be a very successful one, and help more people to win.

With best regards,

I have tried your Picker program and enjoy it very much. I have a few suggestions and observations.

1) perhaps you could go into a little more detail in the "About" section. What are the MAX and MIN buttons for and how are they used?

2) What is the input box for?

I also notice that although I can set the field of numbers to display 54 numbers (I play the New York Lottery), 50 thru 54 are not "loaded" into the drum and are never selected.

One more thing, if I change the number of balls selected, the last ball will roll down and cover the first ball, instead of stopping where it should.

Other than that, I really like the Picker program.

Thanks
